Canonet ql19, strange lightleak

Hi!

I have a Canonet ql19, whitch has a lightleak. The leak has the apperence of an area in the middle of the upper half of the film. This area is slightly brighter than the area around it. I have testet to use tape on the hatch, and anywhere else that light could leak in, to find the leak. But the spot wont dissapear.

Where could the leak be? anyone got a clue?

Hi

Is it hard to clean the shutter?


I saw some scratches that was made when the previous owner tried to remove the inner lense. They are partly covered with some black paint. Could it be this that gives me the bright spot?

It seams tricky to clean the shutter from the back, is it easier to do it from the front? what tools do i need?
