No, not "clue" but "glue".
I can't find a proper glue for gluing the Canonet QL17 GIII viewfinders' eyepiece (the black piece of plastic with the window and the hole for the batt check button) back in place. It keeps separating from the chromed camera top.
Anybody has an idea maybe?
["Superglue", the fast glue based on cyanoacrilate, is out of question because it reacts with the plastic.]

Shoe Goo maybe- applied with a toothpick, I havent had that exact part come off, but I did get a pesky frame bracket thing to finally stay put on my old stereo microscope using shoe goo, I was gluing bakelite to brass in that case. You don't wanna use CA like you said, plus it's too brittle even if the plastic did survive, and CA can run into the worst places. Canon probably used Pilobond or however you spell it, a type of rubber cement, fine stuff, but you pretty much gotta order that from fargo.. Shoe Goo most everybody carries.

shoe goo? what the heck is shoe goo??:))
thanks clintock i will look into it and interview the shoe repairers in the town.
