I just went on a massive GAS attack and got myself a working, pretty QL17 today. I was so pleased with it I started.. you know, jabbing it everywhere shortly after the seller left.

Well, I jabbed the rewind button and now it can't pop back out. It is 4am where I am right now, I'm not about to use the Canonet yet (waiting for the foam I bought from Jon Goodman to reach me), but the idea of a "stuck" rewind button is a little disconcerting to me.

I have no idea what I should do. Am I worrying too much? Or is it simply that.. I don't have the mercury battery it needs, yet?

I apologise if this is a silly question (I grew up breathing and eating digital.. the idea of playing with cameras 1.5 times my age is becoming less scary, but still a little).

Hi and welcome to the forum,

If you really want to delete the thread, edit the first post and then delete. However, if you do that all the welcomes might disappear as well.

I wouldn't worry about silly questions, we have all asked them at some time or other and it is often the quickest way to get an answer. We tend to be a fairly friendly and helpful bunch here so nobody really minds.

Regards
Kim

Okay never mind, everything's alright now and I can't delete this thread.

A big hello to the Canon forum, then. :)

Shall I call it a case of forum-itis? When some other forums become what they are and we all tread fearfully. :) Thankfully, RFF is none of that.
