Can't edit ad in classifieds

What's with the classifieds? I place an ad over an hour ago and for some reason some of my text came up dark gray and some white as I wanted. The maddening thing is the edit function won't work.

What's going on and how do I correct it?

I found for some reason I couldn't edit my ad in Safari and had to go to another browser to edit it.

Close enough now!

I changed my background to the site so I could read it.

Edit function is only works if you open it via "my add" page. Opening from classifieds page will have edit disabled.

Not sure which browser you use, but on my Pale Moon you have to hover the mouse arrow over the EDIT tab in the right top of the page. If I click on it, nothing happens, but hovering the pointer brings up multiple options in a drop down menu.

I noticed the background colour from hell, had to highlight it to read it, wish I didn't, tempted to spend money I don't have......
