So Santa decided to come late this year, after his little helper checked out Vistek (Toronto pro shop) web site on Boxing Day and found out that Crumpler bags were on sale. So the little helper, his wife and two little elves rushed down and picked up a beautiful 5 Million Dollar Home Crumpler bag that fits my Bessa R, extra lens, light meter, some film, Moleskin notebook and other little bits and pieces for $75 CAD.
Then the wife and little elves wanted to go to the mall (Eaton Centre) and while walking down the street I saw a perfect photograph. There was an old guy sitting right beside a fire hydrant in front of a church playing harmonica and selling newspaper. It was an old man, with weathered face and a very sad look in his eyes. I had my camera with me, in my new bag, but my hands were full with bags and two little elves needed attention. So I missed this one. I kept telling myself that we won't be long and I'll get the shot on the way back, but he was gone.
I guess two good things in one day is too much to ask for.
