I wonder about the diffusing light. I hopes he makes a recommendation or sells one as an option.
In the pictures on the KS site it appears to be laying on a tablet. Probably some way you can have your tablet set to a blank white light screen?
(I'm not too up on what tablets can do although a have an ipad-2)

the diffuser that Hamish provides is needed otherwise u would see pixels. I just use an led light pad.
even though i dont need this product because i already have my holders, i like it because it provides a one stop shop for others looking to get started.

Or just take a picture of something white, download or upload an image of a blank white image. You can go 100% in the photos app. I've done this before but you can sometimes see pixels through the film if you aren't using any diffusion.

For a light source, any flat panel light box would work well. $75 from B&H would net one big enough to do the job well. This one is twenty do.lars more and a bit oversize, but should do the job well.

I'm very happy using Lomo's DIGITILZA holders. But this would be a definite consideration if I didn't already have holders.
Well said, I backed this project since I cannot find Lomo's products anymore (discontinued?). Bonus, this should cover multiple formats with one single tool (saving money and space, the latest even more important than the first).

If not, then just make a new (empty) document in photoshop (or other editor), save it as a Jpeg or TIF file, and load the file onto your tablet.

I have that exact Logan pad, and also this one, which only cost $20:

I prefer the $20 pad.
