Capture One Pro 8 and Fuji

I'm looking for an Aperture replacement to use with my X-Pro1.

One option is Capture One Pro which I understand is particularly good with Fuji RAW files.
However I often use the Fuji in camera film simulations, and I seem to remember reading that Capture One is not compatible with these - no idea why.

Does anyone know if this is correct? Does anyone feel really positive about Capture One? I did try the trial of Capture One a few months ago, so will not be able to try it again without purchasing it, and it is not cheap.

I found some Capture One presets here:

They work about as well as the Lightroom presets. One thing I should mention: after trying Capture One with my X100S, I decided to stay with Lightroom as I couldn't see any noticeable difference in quality with appropriate sharpening, and I know Lightroom a lot better.
