As Capture One is the "endorsed" raw file software for the M8, folks should know the latest version of the software (4.6) is downloadable from the Capture One website.

Alas, the current version of Capture One requires OSX 1.5 Leopard. I'm betting the next OS upgrade will be called Vulture.
