What's this film like? Read that the 35mm is grainy for an ISO 100 stock but the larger format should mitigate this.

I LOVE Aerocolor IV in 35mm. It scans well, is super easy to correct in PS/LR, and has very accurate color rendition. The negatives themselves have weird color casts like I've never seen on C41 film but it scans fine nevertheless. I tried to post an IG link to some examples, but the forum here is not cooperating.

Apparently, Kodak will not sell this stuff in 35mm unless it is in extremely large reels, too large for anyone to deal with. Flicfilm up in Canada and SantaColor (in Finland, I believe) were able to order large reels and roll it individually. But these individual rolls are still a little expensive, and cannot compete in my opinion with Fuij 200/400 for "everyday" C41 film use. If Kodak could sell this stock in 100 foot rolls for under $150, it would be a real winner.

Okay, is anybody being really masochistic and processing in E6 for a positive transparency? I've seen some informal reviews, and it seems that results are OK once one finds the right filtration for proper color balance. Of course, it begs the question of "Why?", but we don't ask each other that question here, because we all know the answer...
