cats

Mimí, sleeping (Leica M6TTL & 'lux 35), in B&W on Fuji film. Ben, looking away from the sun, with my Mamiya C200 & 80mm lens on Scala film, some time ago.

I like those bessa L shots, But your cat needs to meet my cat. He's in the hospital right now with an iv stuck ih him. He's a house cat that got impatient and ran out tomcatting last week and instead of meeting a female, he met a snake and got bit. He has serious infection but will pull through. I think his tomcatting days are over.

Here are my rangefinder cat photos. She is the only living thing that I live with that I can easily take photos of . . .
All very nice, Sirius, but the second photo is supreme...almost channeling Man Ray here!

A snake bit him THERE? Ouch!

Here is a very young Presto- I think the day after she was brought home. Now, 5 or 6 years later she is quite the burly animal. Weighs three times what her sister does, but isn't all that much bigger.

My sister had a cat- quite the 'cats cat' who got bit by a rattlesnake right on the top of the head. Head swelled up to the size of a big grapefruit. Vet said that since he had so little meat on his head the venom didn't really get into the bloodstream. His bone head saved his life, even as it nearly cost him it.

Spencer, his last pic before we had to put him to sleep, 2 weeks ago. Ricoh Diacord TLR and XP2.

Talk about pressure to get the shot...
