Cerakote on camera bodies

It occurred to me recently that Cerakote, a highly durable ceramic coating, might be a good thing for aging camera bodies. A quick internet search returned this:

It doesn't get much better than this!

Cerakote has a gallery of cameras that have been given the ceramic treatment by various suppliers.

Feel free to message me on the site. 🙂We haven't done an M9 yet, and so the disassembly/reassembly is an unknown. I did an M8 several years ago but everything else has been film cameras.
 
Just a question, do I need much tedious on cerakote painting process? Sorry I have no idea 🙂)))
Instead I went to japanning, but gosh the engrave is my disgust, the trade off is I have to wait 3 to 4 months to dry 3 layered done on my IIIC top and botoom plate (on the process now)arggggh.
