Hi, All,
I purchased recently a Certo Dolly Super Sport (RF edition). If has the f2.8 tessar lens, and I realize that I will probably want a lens hood and some filters for it. I'll be shooting mostly B&W.
I cannot find any specifications on the filter size for the lens, though.
1) Is the lens for push-on or threaded accessories?
2) In either case, what size do I need to look for?
I have measured the outside diameter of this lens. It seems to be about 1-7/16in which would be about 36.5mm.
Thanks for any help you can lend to this.

I use 37mm push-on accessories on mine. I don't recall there being threads to screw anything into.

Yes, it should be 37mm push-on. Many cameras use this size, so hoods and filters should be fairly easy to find.
Welcome to the forum! Have fun with your Certo! When you have found the hood and filters, you may start to glance at other cameras, like the 6x9 Voigtländer Bessa RF with a Skopar or Heliar or a Zeiss Ercona II. They also take the 37mm accessories. When you've bought one it's hard to stop buying more.

Thank you, JPD, and 02pilot, for the replies and the info. I'm finding plenty of items on ebay, for example, as you suggested.
One question: either of you familiar with the "B+W tulipan 27-37mm lens hood?" It seems to sometimes come with yellow, orange, green and red filters that it can hold in place. But I can't really find any info on it from websites.
thanks again for the help.

No, but found pictures of one after a search. It looks more like a novelty item than something really usable. It looks like it would be difficult to keep it in straight position on the lens, and you'd want the filters to be parallell to the lens. Get a normal lens hood.
