Simple: Full frame sensor with interchangable lens. Compatible with Leica lenses via adapter, priced at 2500. That will be the holy grail.

What about X-lenses? I thought they did not fully cover the 35mm full frame area. Would they do an X camera that does not take existing X lenses?

doubtful...the idea behind the xtrans sensor is to eliminate the need for full frame.

Not everyone cares about M lenses. The Fuji series has pretty damn good native lenses... and they can focus closer than .7 meters. 😉
