change in holiday plans

So we roughly worked out the cost of a road trip this summer with my father around the Gaspe' of Quebec - gas, lodging, food. My dad then suggested: why not Cuba, which would cost less. Now my son is interested in joining us. Cool, 3 generations. This change in plans brings about a change in gear. Now I'm thinking to take my 2 Nikonos V's, one for colour neg, one for B+W. These would be good in the surf and the sand. I can forego MF on this trip.

Just be wary when you go to Cuba - be sure to tell them you're a hobby photographer - you do not take photos for a living - do not say you are a "photographer" - they will wonder why you're going to the country and what you'll be photographing and try to determine if you're taking a job away from any Cubans 🙂
