Shopping malls are full of people and props and colors yet when I'm in a mall I 'see' no photos... Its not allowed to photograph inside a mall but with a phone one can do it easily.
I think to myself, why I don't see photos in a mall and the answer is that I hate the lighting inside the malls. I like natural light, even if its dim evening light.
The same way I don't see any photos in suburbs, because all suburbs look the same and they bore me. Even with great light, suburbs are still boring.
At this point I have photographed in almost all areas of life that I encounter and from that over the years I have ruled out many areas that did not inspire me photographically.
