I'm looking to get an R3A for the 75 framelines.

I remember reading somewhere that the finish on the R3A had been recently upgraded to the same on the R4A, and that newer versions, like the R4A, only say "R3A" on the front (with the word "Bessa" moved to the top plate).

Can anyone confirm this and any other changes? Thanks in advance!

Indeed the markings are as described, and it's a brilliant camera with a 75mm lens attached. I have the 75/2 and the two fit together extremely well.

Thanks, Keith and Austerby.

I'm really glad especially to hear positive things about the R3A from another 75/2 user.

Looks like my RF journey is coming round trip as I come back to the R3A, the body I started with. Took me that long to figure out that for my interests in people, a 75 paired with a wide is most natural.
