Changes to gallery home page?

I don't think I'm mistaken...

The gallery home page, until recently, was Recent Posts - All Categories, and below that random pictures

Now it seems to be Recent Posts - All Categories and below that Most Popular Images - All Categories

I'd love if it was put back to random posts instead of most popular images, that way you can refresh the page and often discover some great unseen work

There was also a "my gallery" button until a few weeks ago. That was convenient to go directly to your own gallery instead of having to either search for your name or go alphabetically.

Yes indeed! Apparently, I was not "completely" logged in. I could post with my profile (see previous post) but when I went to see the gallery, I saw the "login" button instead of "logout". Now that I'm logged in, I see the "My gallery" button. Strange...

Thank you, Jorge. I enjoy this opportunity to see the work of others. While leaving the "Random Images" as a default is it easily possible to have the "Most Popular Images" as an option, or as a gallery of its own that we could choose to go to? It's not that I'm hard to please, or that I want it all -- but I am and I do!

I am sure that I am not alone in saying you can not be thanked enough for providing this forum and for the work that must go into maintaining it. I hope that it makes you very proud -- it is an achievement all unto itself. I am grateful to you and will do my best to respect your efforts.

What do you guys think of a larger random immage on the home page? In the middle section rather than on the left or right.

Jorge, personally I like it just the way it is. I can see a larger view by clicking on the thumbnail. I really like the random thumbnails and would prefer not to lose the number that show up if larger thumbs are 'featured'.
