One truly "cheap" lens that stands out, in my opinion, is the Pentax SMC 1.7 50mm (I had the M version, but I hear others are great, too.) Better build quality than the late 1.8 50 MIJ Zuiko lenses. Really the only "fault" are the six iris blades, more or rounder ones would have been nice.
I have the 'F' version of that lens, and it is great. I use it on my DSLR and Mirrorless with auto focus. Another inexpensive lenses that I picked up for $40 US was the pre-set f 4 Takumar 50mm macro: sharp sharp all the way through,
