Just to make sure, I sent this guy a question and got this response from ebay:

With work and family commitments I usually only manage to get out with a compact camera to shoot, can't justify holding on a very expensive camera that gets used once a month or less, so I am thinking of selling it.

Problem is I could not even find a completed auction for a used RD-1 on the evil bay, so I am not sure how much to ask.
GarethC actually agreed to buy this camera while it was being serviced (I told him the camera was with Epson), and he sent some money, but Epson took quite some time to send it back and, quite understandably, he decided to get a new RD-1s from Robert White instead, so I refunded him.
Now the camera is back so I will probably put it for sale soon.
