Cheap Scanner for Negatives

Copy slides and negs with a DSLR

I have been getting very interesting results using an old Bowens Slid Copier and a digital SLR to quickly copy slides and negatives, and then process the raw files in Bibble Pro. It is much faster than scanning. In some cases I have made prints as large as 13" x 19"'s from 35mm slides and negatives.
It also works for Medium Format slides and negatives.

I'd say a slide copier (maybe plus the right T2 mount) would be cheaper and every bit as good as that device, Jon as long as you own a dSLR. My own experience with cheap negative scanners has not been a happy one.
