I loaned my wife my old 5D hoping that she'd share my passion for photography. After several months of casual photography she commented that she preferred the 'look' of the photos I'd taken with my M8 and appreciated the small size of the camera. I recently bought a used M8 for her birthday. Now I have to admit that she has a more artistic eye than me! She's just beginning to learn the technical aspects of photography, but has a wonderful native talent. I have a lot to learn from her about how to make a worthwhile photograph. I'm a happy man!

Shooter of Film...
When we were first married I bought my wife a Pentax P3. She was very excited when she opened the package..I doubt there's been more than ten rolls through that camera...
I was using my Pentax MX's at that time with Vivitar Series One lenses...
So..."No", I can't cheat with my wife's gear...
She won't even pick up one of my cameras if it was sitting on the table all ready to go...

Well-known
my fiance now "owns" my first camera (film SLR), and has remarked number of times how pretty the M3 is (she has a thing for vintage furniture, clothes etc). and has said that she would like one, but i think it is too daunting without a meter.
perhaps i will buy her a CL or CLE and 40mm Summi or Rokkor (OR a chrome M6 and a 40mm Summi / Rokkor)... an M6 would look nice in my colection
currently she uses my LX3 that she bought for me for my birthday (that I asked for when asked what i would like, thought at least one digital camera would be nice. but i just don't really use it).

My wife does not shot much (she likes to just tell me, "Shoot, Shoot!") but she actually is a wonderful photog.
