I just found something strange. In my RFF Profile under user settings, the email address listed was one that I used a long time ago, but changed in more recent years. I haven't used that email address in ages, but it seemed that RFF software reverted to the old address. Not sure how else to explain it. So I changed my email address to something current, and changed my password to a randomly generated one suggested by Firefox for good measure. The password is now recorded and secure.

Check your email addresses, gentlefolk!

Edit: now that I think of it, I don't understand how RFF could have that old email address, as I joined in 2011, but haven't been able to use the old email address since the early 2000s. So how the heck did RFF have that old email address? The mystery deepens.

Mine is also incorrect. I tried entering the new email address (that is to say the CORRECT address which I have had for longer than I can remember) - I understand that as is the usual practice it has to be entered twice so as to confirm its syntax etc - but even then after I saved (at the bottom of the page) it reverted to the incorrect email address that was previously displayed. Not sure what to do now.

Did you also enter your password further up on the settings page? I did the same initially, and found that you have to enter your password as well if you want to change the email address. Hope this helps.
