I received my Luigi full-case today for my Leica MP. I'm so impressed with the craftsmanship that went into this case. I knew that the Luigi case was going to be really nice but this exceeded my expectations. I took it to work today to show it to a colleague of mine who does leather work as a hobby and he astounded by the quality of the work. He must have must have spent a 8-10 10 minutes looking at that case analyzing every inch of it.

I plan on using just the half-case most of the time and as a full-case for storage or when transporting the camera in my day bag. The leather is grippy and I've overcome the fear I had of dropping the MP because of its slippery covering (at least I think its slippery). Going from a full-case to a half-case or vice-versa is a easy and it take only a two seconds. Luigi's way of attaching the cover is a stroke of genius.

I can't say enough good things about Luigi. We exchanged several emails during the transaction. Luigi, as somebody here said before, was always the perfect gentleman.

Also, for you information, the full case accommodates the CV 75/2,5 Heliar with it's standard hood and cap without any problems.

I also have a full case and Luigi's method for attaching the two halves of the case is so clever I almost missed it ... I was about to send him an email asking if he had any cases that separated when I worked it out ... how embarrasing!

Incredible workmanship and a charming man! :)

Today I received a Gordy vertical strap for my Pentax MX. It's a different sort of strap all together. Very utilitarian, strong and has a rugged look. I'm impressed with Gordy's product too. The reason why I went with Gordy is that I find the Pentax MX body quite small and I was thinking that I could use the type of tripod attachment that Gordy uses to help me hold the camera better by gripping it like a trigger. It actually works quite well that way. Cheers for Gordy and Luigi.:)

Let me add three cheers for Luigi. I just received his special half-case (black) for the LHSA MP3. It is exquisitely made. But more than that, the service is incredible. His rapid and polite communcations, the free Leica key ring he threw into the package, his catalogues which, although written in Italian, have wonderful photos and graphics of old Leica cameras together with detailed photos of how to load film into them. I recommend buying from him just for the experience. Oh, and BTW, next day FedEx really cames next day. As fast as or faster than any US dealer I have bought from.

3 months on and the case he made for my Canon still never fails to delight me. Luigi's cases all come with a free vaccination against buyer's remorse.

Please ad me to the long list of admirers of Luigi's leatherworks. I've had the pleasure of using his cases for Contax G2 and R-D1 as well as his straps. I really like how soft and flexible his straps are - very easy to wrap around the wrist which is what I like to do.

Today my K10D was treated to a Luigi neck strap. My wife is very, very jealous :)

I thought it was hype until I seen Kully's wrist strap @CNY outing in London. Dont think photos will do them justice sorry...

I've been seeing pictures of Luigi's cases for years. Thought they looked nice. Recieved my case and strap today, wow! I was floored, it's a beautiful product. The pictures don't come close to doing it justice. After lugging around a 1Ds for years, the diminutive M8 combined with the handle and smell of Luigi's leather case is heaven.

ok here's mine!

Luigi is awesome, I just wish his email address worked.

FYI, on his website he has a message that he is having problems with his email address, I sent him a message today that was undeliverable.

Hope he gets things squared away before I "lose" my money.

I sent him a PM here, but contacting him via ebay is another good idea. Thanks.
