cherry blossoms...here yet??

Anyone has updates on how the cherry blossom flowers are blooming?
How is the bloom growth like in DC ?
Is it spreading to NY yet? 😛 😛

For anyone in NYC there's a beautiful grove of cherry trees on Roosevelt Island,
on the promenade in front of Goldwater Hospital.
Faces lower Manhattan, too, so very photogenic...

Here in Southern CA they have already bloomed and lost the blooms. They will probably bloom again with our ridiculous weather. Yesterday it started off warm and sunny, mid 70's, then the clouds moved in and we had a 10 minute downpour with wind and it dropped to about 60. After a couple hours of clouds the sky cleared and it jumped back up into the high 70's. Crazy...
