I'm not so sure about perfect - I'd be frightened to take it outside - but there's lots out there that score 8 or 9 out of 10 and not all of them are expensive. You can still pick them up on ebay for the opening bid...

couldn't ye just find replacement glass for the viewfinder?Ah'd imagine that most of that Oly series would have identical (or near enough) VFs, some with clear glass?

Ah actually like the blue tinge on mine, it's an aid in lowlight, streetlight, dusk etc.

The Konica III M has a nice viewfinder and a good lens.

+1 My Konica IIIa has the best viewfinder of any fixed lens rangefinders I've used. Just a beauty in every way. (My second favorite camera is the 35RC.)

Have you tried a Konica Auto S3? Also great, if you want a light meter.

The only problem with the RC is interaction of wind on lever and forehead. The only problem! 🙂
