In 1969, I jumped off of a US Army duece-and-a-half truck in front ot the An Lac orphanage and this was the first photo I took that day. I really didn't know how these kids would affect my life.

These trucks were on the road in Vietnam until the mid-90s. Most, if not all would have a drum with water on top of the cabin to cool the engine and along the road, there would be 'watering' stations. Cheers, OtL

Often while travelling in India I've had people ask me to take their photo. This one was at the golden temple in Amritsar, a group of boys with no prompting what so ever lined up and asked to be photographed.

While visiting Vasco De Gama in Goa I spotted a yard full of watermelons and was just lifting camera when the woman in the back yelled "Stop"!
She then said, "wait for the children to get in the photo". What a difference from the common western fear of photographers.
