This might seem like an odd question because it hasn't affected the negatives (as far as I can see).
So as some of you might have noticed, summer is coming around and thing are getting warmer for those without an air conditioner. When my stock D-76 is sitting at room temperature, it's probably around 26 degrees Celsius. When I mix it to 1:1, the temperature goes down but not to 20. Even though I've been doing this a while, I've never wandered into developing at different temperatures so I just stick to 20 degrees for consistency's sake.
To get it back down to 20, I've been sticking it in the fridge for about 10 minutes. Apart from being close to my food 🙂D), is there anything wrong with doing this? IE does the rapid change in temperature affect the developer's properties?
Does anyone have any stories about thawing frozen dev or anything along those lines?
It's more curiosity as I haven't noticed any effect on my negatives.
Thanks
