My first, short, visit to Chiswick House and Gardens in West London, on a glorious sunny June Day. I took two Leicas (film M6 and Digital M8) and a Holga. The bright sun, strong greens and high contrast led me to experiment more with an infrared filter using the M8.

The rich classical architecture of the house, and geometric landscaping of the gardens, make it a wonderful venue for some afternoon photography.

Here are a few shots from the two galleries (Chiswick in Colour & Monochrome and Chiswick in Infrared)

The IR shots are stunning - I've tried using SFX and appropriate filters for this effect but have not succeeded to this degree. The lack of grain and balanced exposure is noticeable.

Enjoyed the rest of your site too - you have even more cameras than I do!
