The National Portrait Gallery is hosting a Cindy Sherman retrospective from 27 June to 15 September 2019. Link.
"This major new retrospective will explore the development of Sherman’s work from the mid-1970s to the present day, and will feature around 150 works from international public and private collections, as well as new work never before displayed in a public gallery."

Also mentioned in BJP here.

I saw something similar (maybe the same) a few years ago at the SFMOMA; it was really good. Everything from her first work to the present.

Sherman's works more like an artist rather than a photographer. Unlike most photographs, her images are ambiguous and a lie. What we see is not what's there, what we see are cultural stereotypes at first that we're conditioned to see. We begin to identify with her women in the photos, but it's only Sherman impersonating those cultural stereotypes in a dead pan manner. When we understand that we're looking at an impostor, it changes how we view the work and we begin to think about it. That's not easy to pull off w/o becoming precious or trite (like Jeff Koons for example).
