Circular Fish-eye Lens with M6 ?

I am about to try out using a Canon 7.5mm [circular image] fisheye lens on the M6. Is such an extreme wide angle lens useful for street photography, if followed by careful cropping with PS ? Has anyone used an SLR fisheye lens for street photogrpahy?

I use OM 16mm fisheye - still need to understand how to use it in creative way. Even on slr the one must be very carefull composing with fisheye. Why bother with putting fisheye on rf?

Igor,
The only reason would be to enjoy using my M camera with it. With a circular image, I find that less care is needed with composition since the image is circular and nothing sticks out as misalligned.

I had an 8mm fisheye for my SLR, and although it was fun to use occasionally I never really got many images I was happy with from it. It's just too wide, you can't really 'compose' in the typical sense. It sees everything in front and to the sides of the lens with a 180' field of view, so you'll usually get your feet in the picture unless you point it up...

It was fun to use on a DSLR with a crop factor, because it didn't have such a wide field of view, but still had a pretty pronounced fisheye effect.

Oh, and to get people that look like foreground objects it'll have to be about a foot from their face. Seriously.

As a wide angle user I've wondered what to do with a fisheye. Architecture is going to look silly, no way to stop that. But maybe it is good for something else?

Bryce: I certainly will try out such a set-up. I am counting on using PS to crop some of the resulting images. If successful, I could get some interesting results.

What adapter is available for such an enterprise?

Someone above mentioned care in composing so things wouldn't "look mis-aligned". Could it be that's because EVERYTHING is mis-aligned?? In that case, you just wouln't notice!!

You can get image processing software to remove the fisheye optics 'abberation' so that the lens looks like a super wide, for the 16mm 180 degrees diagnonal on 24x36mm lenses.
But even a 28mm needs to be real close to get enough impact, try a 28 or 35mm.

My girlfriend works with the canon 15mm fisheye lens, I have shot a few frames with it on my 20d, still kind of weird.

I used the fish-eye lens yesterday with the M6, and soon I will see how the images come out.
