Well, in my ears a recent CLA sounds good, but than I do want to know who did it and what was done. Well done CLA gives chance that the camera will be working fine for some longer time (though it is no warranty of course).
And about the fuzzy shots - if somebody trying to sell his stuff is lazy or just not interested to make some decent shots of the camera or lens - I do not bother. Either he/she is trying to cover for some problems or it is a manifestation of his/her approach and ability to make business.
When I sell something I always try to provide as good photos AND description of the item I am selling as I can. Then the buyer knows that I care and that I know what I am selling. These are cameras, not second hand T-shirts.
