I got a very nice condition Contax-G 45mm f/2 planar, at a comically low price. It's a great shooter, but there's a little patch of fungus inside. I'd like to get it cleaned out of there.
These lenses have exposed screws on the rings--I suspect they're not hard to get into. Is there any online guide to doing so? If not, is there anyone who can do this work affordably? Since they are available for around a hundred bucks in good condition, I'm not especially interested in spending a lot of money.

Ah, I'm the US, I'm afraid.

Apparently in the US tocad.com do authorized work, while keh.com do Contax repairs as well.

Ah, thank you! KEH seems like a decent bet at the moment. But to be honest, I really just want to dismantle the thing and clean it myself...has anyone here ever done this? Will an advanced amateur like me be able to reassemble the lens correctly?

Actually, according to KEH's repair calculator, this would only cost $35. I think I'll go that route, unless somebody pops up here with a disassembly/reassembly tutorial...

Yes, I only hope they do not add more costs later. My 45mm has an inner barrel that is somewhat loose:

(have you seen this problem with your lenses?)
so I may send it to KEH as well. On the other hand tocad quoted $135 !

I had a loose aperture ring on a 45 planar. It mounted only with brute force, as well. I sent it back to KEH for a refund. This new one I got from a fellow RFF member...it works flawlessly, except for the fungus patch.
