Yes, I used them recently to CLA a DS M3.

They did exactly what they said they would. The shutter speeds are now more accurate (as far as I can tell), the wind-on is smoother, and the viewfinder is much brighter. I had unwisely tried to set the rangefinder to infinity and hamfistedly made it worse AND put it out of vertical alignment, hence the need for a CLA. They sorted all of that out within the price and charged nothing more for postage (US='shipping'). The only thing they missed was a problem with the 90mm frame, a problem which is still there. I didn't have a 90mm at the time, so I neither mentioned it to them nor was bothered when they didn't sort it. Now I have a 90mm Elmar, I might get that put right.

Malcolm Taylor (a lovely man - lives and breathes Leica and was even entrusted the UR-Leica to work on by the Leitz museum) takes his time and works to stellar standards, but he is more expensive. Dare I admit that I send my Wife's Leica to the Manchester firm and my own Leica and lenses to Malcolm Taylor?

Cheers,

Seán.
