ok, time for some fun!

check out the classifieds and pick one thing, that, if you had the cash, you would buy...and tell us why!

for me...there is a lovely black leica m4 that i would love to have. if i were to shoot film again i would want to shoot it in an m4 with the zeiss 35/2.8...
why? i love film cameras, i have never tried an m4 though i have had an m4p and an m3 in my past.

and you?

Black M8, been saving and saving for one, but somehow my bills always seem to get in the way :(

Soon though! This summer... is THE summer I will get an M8 ;)

It's the fuji 14mm lens for my new digital camera.

(Kinda funny that Joe selected a film camera and I selected a lens for digital camera.)

There is a 'cron 35mm in silver right now... for a bit over two-grand, IB and very new looking... But I've spent so much already in two cameras (M4 and M2) that it's simply stupid to go for it. Not to mention that I've already have a lot of 35mm lenses (but I always could sell one to make room for this one... :) )

Bronica RF645, wanted one for ages. A medium format RF for street work (I hope).

The x100t kit Dave had for sale.
Sold now.... So I'll settle for the x100s.

I'm simplifying and simple tools look very attractive.

The native vertical format of the RF645 can work well for environmental portraiture.
Not so much for landscape photography though, so I sold mine.

Someone recently had a bunch of B&W film for sale...I would have bought all of it...why???
I want more B&W film...

There's an awesome chrome M4 for sale too. And for a price that IS affordable.

what a great thread!!!

it would be the recently posted hasselblad kit in a case with four lenses and everything with it.

it would be my choice because i absolutely love the square format...and i am in he process of rebuilding a hasselblad kit....shhhhh! not a word of this to my rolleiflex 6002 or the mamiya 6 ; - )

laugh more, smile more...i do every time i go by a mirror.

I'd have liked that X100T as well, but if it's limited to stuff that's still available, that Canon F1 with the original box looks pretty tasty.

The new M6 Millennium. Just got a worn one, and like it well enough, but I'd prefer this new one, then sell the one I have now.

The Summicron 35/2 Asph Chrome ($2025).
It is wicked wicked pretty and (if someone gave it to me) I wouldn't have to wait for the Fuji 35/2 (silver) to hit the streets.
