Hi, recently acquired a user condition minolta cle for good bucks.

After dealing with rangefinder vertical and horizontal adjustment i find the lightmeter is at least overexposing by 2 stops.

All electronical features are ok, even speeds are well timed.

I find this odd can you illustrate me on what thing can be wrong with it?

Perhaps some calibration, any web site to look for advice and pics?

Thakns in advance for your advice!

Bye!

For slower shutter speeds the CLE reads the exposure off the film plane while the shutter is open. This will work only if there is actually fim in the camera, otherwise the camera reads the exposure off the back plate which is darker than film—hence the overexposure.

Exactly. I was a bit worried in the beginning too, until I realized this is how the meter works.
