cleaning m3.....

I to everybody, I've just bought this m3 , is very used but I would like to restore it . I will brig it tomorrow morning to Samca The best repair store here in Genova , for a full cla but I would like to clean the chrome and make it again brillant ......How can I do????

For the two piece I've paid 350 euro the body and the lens ....

You got a pretty sweet deal there. I wouldn't apply anything more severe than a slightly damp cloth to the chrome. I don't think the chrome on any M3 was ever "brilliant". Those marks on the top are worn in, and are signs of a useful life. If it had been a pristine shelf queen you may be hesitant to use it yourself, which would be a shame.

Most of the marks on the body are wear marks and dings which cannot be cleaned other than by a careful wipe with alcohol.. The chrome of the M3 is satin chrome and will not clean to a shine..

Thank you very much , Ilove it allready and I see that is very easy to focousing really much better then on my m6 , tomorrow I will bring to a big cla , and I think to change tha vulcanite too ......

From the pictures it's clear it's not a shelf queen, but still wow, that's a good price even before a CLA.
