Have the old dreaded schneideritis and some dirt on the edges of front element. Been trying to look around outdated forums and messaged a few known people for cleaning/repair.. Only guy who responded is a guy named Dieter who I found from flickr. He's chargin a pretty decent price for cleaning. He's somewhere in Europe, I'm from the US. I haven't responded yet, thinking if there's someone from the US so it doesn't have to leave the country.
Anyone know any people who repair these days?

Yes, a shop inEurope. I sent my Rokkor 28 a number of years back and they claimed expertise in this exact issue. You have to mail it to them and they evaluate and tell you if it can be made better. Some better than others. I know of no others that would be able diagnose and clean any better.

What a great list. It's nice to know that a couple of the shops listed are located here in the Portland area, though I've not had a need to use either place for repair work, Blue Moon is a great shop that I've visited a few times over the years just to check out their extensive collection of film cameras for sale. While I have heard of Advance Camera before, I've never visited.

Minolta repaired this lens back in the day, but I can't recall reading the details of how this was accomplished. Perhaps they had to replace all of the impacted elements among other things?
