Hi,
Is somebody knows what sort of wet solution I need in order to clean the sensor of my R-D1?
I know there is different sorts of sensors, so different sorts of solutions.
Thanks for the help!

OK, I had a couple of specks

OK, I had a couple of specks

used an air blower and at least moved them out of the sky area and got a few to fall off.

I'm not going to worry about them, unless you look hard or are shooting sky all the time, they're not noticeable. A lot less obtrusive than say "Ned Bojik" all over your images 😀

Yes, set the camera at its smallest aperture and aim it at a clear blue sky. Any dust bunnies present will show up loud and clear!

i bought my R-D1 used and noticed immediately that the sensor was very dirty. i was able to take it to Steve's Camera in southern California and get it cleaned in an afternoon for $95. he also checked out the framelines, etc., for me, and fixed a bubble in the grip. i highly recommend using them as a resource for any problems or tweaking if you're not ready to DIY.
