Cleaning the Incident Light dome of a lightmeter.

It may sound stupid but how can one remove the bluish tint from the incident light reading dome of a Gossen light meter? The creamy plastic on my light meter has gotten a hint of blue from the inner velvet side of the meter's case. I have tried rubbing it with alcohol but it did not work.

Use metal polish and a soft cloth, this should get it clean.
