The M-mount Voigtlander 15mm f/4.5 is an awesome lens. It has survived three Burning Man festivals. Unfortunately, after the last dusty stint in the desert, I have noticed dust between the lens elements.

My thought is this could be as simple as purchasing a lens spanner and using a rocket blower to knock the dust out. Is it more complex than that?

Has anyone else taken this lens apart? What did you learn?

Thanks,
Matt

If it takes pics as good as this, I would leave it alone.
Probably be cheaper to replace it, rather than have it cleaned.
I have a screw mount version. Uncoupled, is the m coupled?
I would be very wary of cleaning fine abrasive dust from glass if you don't know what you are doing!
Tho it would probably be a relatively easy job.
