Sorry for such a crappy image. I don't have a digital camera at the moment so I just used my webcam.
Anyway, I just bought this weird "finder" that's practically just a magnifying glass put on front of the rangefinder. It has +2 marking (and a cyrillic letter resembling A) on it meaning it can be used with +2 filter that came with it, right? With quick test it seemed to actually work.
I ended up buying it just out of curiosity as I've never seen anything like that.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with later zorki/fed models as the accessory shoe is too high up. But even when used with zorki 1 you can't use lenses like jupiter 8 as it prevents to place the finder.

Seems to work on the same principle as, for example, the Canon Auto-Up. Evidently designed for use with collapsible lenses.
