Close Up eyes on other lenses ... Cheaters!

Hi Everyone,
So some of us have and love our 50mm DR's... I do ... anyway I have two others I love:

My Canon 50mm f/1.2 & a Summirit 50mm f/1.5.

So I know there are close up attachments for the Elmar (and others) but has anyone had experience with mating these "close up" rigs with other lens? Namely the ones I have !!

Is a 50mm and it's cam the same all around? Because a Canon f/1.2 close up, WFO ... could be nice ...

Hey Steve,

I don't have the lenses you do, but I do have a couple 39mm close-up lenses. One is a B+W NL5 which brings the front element of my 35mm down to 6 inches from the subject, and a Heliopan x0.5, which gets me 18 inches from the subject.

I determined the precise distances by careful experimentation.

ps, I got both lenses from the bargain box at Photomark.
