I'm getting interested in Agfa Clacks since reading that they have a swing-in close-up lens.

Any comments about shooting with such a set-up are welcome... Especially how the close-up lens performs? thanks

Frank, close-up with an Agfa Clack means only 1m - 3m!

These are shot in close-up mode:

Strange, It looks like the center of your shot is not as sharp as the rest, Petronius. Is this due to the lens or development? Very pleasant image though.

I have only shot one roll through my Clack and found it to be a nice, simple, p&s kinda camera. Did not try the close-up setting, though. You can see the little portrait lens swing into place when you change the aperture control lever.

....I've got a Click II lying around somewhere that's in need of testing....

I looks like the *ss-end of the subject is too close to the camera. The image of the wall in the background is in focus, while the derriere of the subject is not. Pardon my French.

The center of the tree might be oof because of the bad scanning technique I used.
Solinar, you´re right with the *ss-end. Fact is, I always tend to get too close when I shoot her;-)
