Today I started getting a delay when opening the Rangefinder Forum. I am using Firefox. It says something about ddos protection and cloudflare.

Not sure why this started happening...is everything ok here? it doesn't seem to happen with a handful of sites i've just opened. only this one.

Wonder if maybe this is a weird Firefox thing.

Thanks Stephen, I've been getting Cloudflare delays periodically for months if not years here in Australia, so maybe it's accentuated by distance. It seems to be nice and responsive right at the moment. John Mc

It looks like a lot of hops are within Australia (Telstra is my internet supplier and the main backbone supplier in Oz). The performance seems fine there 241ms =quarter of a second.

Ok. Thanks Stephen. Clicking on rff worked fine just now.

I don't have cloudflare or anything like it, (nextdns also available in settings), checked to work on its own. I verified that last night in firefox settings. I read it was done automatically in the US months ago, but not here in europe.

Mozilla can be heavy handed at times.

more than usual numbers of people streaming and surfing, puts lot of stress to networks.

It started again. Cloudflare delay. No images, empty boxes up top in gallery photos. Sometimes i get all classified images. Sometimes not.

Every so often I experience weirdness with firefox. One day I will drop mozilla for good.

update: it is happening now with Opera. not the end of the world. just annoying...
