Coating of Zeiss ZM vs. Hasselblad

I like my ZM. I am getting Hasselblad's MF lenses from 20 years ago. Should I expect the same coating, colors or characteristics?

'Blad lenses from 20 years ago were black finish and multi-coated and should all give you pretty much the same color rendition as other lenses from that era. They do give a slightly different look than the older single coated chrome lenses. No doubt still newer lenses give you a different look than those did. I'm not speaking from experience on the current line-up though. Most lens makers are always updating coatings to the latest technology without any formal announcement. Sometimes they'll tweak the specifications a bit to accomodate newer glass types. This may be done because the newer glass is better or simply because the glass maker discontinued the other glass.
You'd really have to do your own tests to find out. Then let us know what you find.
