I just bought a 35mm Summilux pre-asph for my M9. Lovely, lovely lens. Just did some test shots at home and it seems like a lens I'm going to use a lot.
One annoying thing, though. There doesn't seem to be a 6-bit code for this lens. I would like to code it myself so that I can keep the lens detection on auto. I find it a little strange that there is no code for it, since you can manually select the pre-asph in the manual menu.
Does anybody know if there is a code for it? If not, can I just code it as an ASPH, or would that mess something up?
Thanks

i had mine milled (6 slots) while it was in for adjustment of the focusing ring, and painted in the ASPH code. no problems noted. it's a great representative of the mandler lens family.
