collapsible summicron filter question

collapsible summicron filter question

I am planning to use my clean collapsible summicron on an upcoming trip where space is at a premium because my wife thinks so. I have a yellow "1" and a green filter, and have read different views as to exposure factors (expressed in stops). Can one of your fine and experienced folks please give me your own views as to how much exposure to add for the yellow and green filters, respectively.
Thanks
Steed

Most standard K2 filters need 2/3 stop via my Pentax spotmeter. If the green is the “GGR” Leica one, it’s about the same. If you are using an m6 or m7, it should adjust on its own. If not, just give yourself an extra stop or so.

When you use Flickr if you want to share a picture use the Share Button and then the BBCode option. Copy and paste the code into Rangefinderforum text box. You do not need to use the link or picture buttons.

And then you are all set. I posted your picture above to demonstrate what it will look like.

This is such a great versatile lens. Can get the leica glow, and still be able to get super sharp images.

It really is. Someday soon I'm gonna do a shootout between all my 50s to see what real world differences I can see. I suspect the collapsible will be top 2 or so for what I'm looking for.
