When I am developing my film today I notice the color of the syrup has darken a bit. I think my bottle is like a couple months old and little less than half full now. The negatives seem to come out alright, does anyone know if that's something bad? Should I search for some little glass bottles like it suggest here-->http://www.covingtoninnovations.com/hc110/?
Thanks

HC110 seems to last forever. IME it does darken on the surface or as a residue, but with no effect as far as I could tell. When I had almost emptied my last bottle, I poured water into it to eke out a last batch of working solution, guessing as best I could considering half of what I was diluting was dark brown crust. Worked great! HC110 has never failed me, unlike some other developers I could mention

I agree with allthumbs. I never had a problem no matter the colour.

I just finished a bottle of HC-110 that I bought in September 2003. Worked fine right until the end.

Shelf life is tremendous with HC-110. A couple years or more not just a couple months. It should be fine.

Thanks for the replies. That makes me feel better because I was assuming it should last longer and didn't expect the color change. BTW, the negatives came out just fine.
