Color film for Electro 35

Hi All -

Now that I've got my hands on my lovely Yashica I've picked up a few rolls 100 and 400 TMax to play with - on the flip side I'm not sure where to even start with color. If I could get some recommedations for good starting points I'd appreciate it.

In general - I'll be taking daytime pictures of people indoors (no flash - with natural light through the windows) and also outdoor pics during the day.

Fuji Reala 100 is a very nice colour negative. If you need faster, go for 400. (the 200-speed films are not really an improvement in speed, and they are also usually less good than 400-ones. At least that's what the Kodak legend says, have never shot fuji 200-speed.)
NPC160 is also a very nice film, esp. for folks, although might be more expensive.
For "400" i picked up a bunch of almost-expired NPH rolls, that's what i use lately, nice for people, not too high contrast. But i set the yashica to iso250 with the NPH, gives better shadows. I have some shots with the GSN on NPH at iso250 in my gallery here, the liberation days folder.
El-cheapo Fuji Superia colour negs of 100 and 400 speed are pretty good, in fact. Just that i get a free roll of the same neg when i drop a film for dev+proof prints so i don't care about the price.

Oh and i've heard lots of good things about the new konica 400-speed colour neg, but have not tried it personally.

If you want to experiment.
The Dollar stores around here have Konica 200 print for a buck.
Walmart and Mejiers have had 12 shot trial size Kodak High Definition 400 for $1.99.
I buy the trial 12 shot rolls for testing cameras. Walmart only charges a $1.50+tax to develope and I can get them quick.

Is that $1.50 with prints or process only?

Does anyone buy the film in bulk and hand-load it? If so - any recommendations for a good place to buy the film?

Adorama, B&H, Freestyle. I don't bulk load color, only b&w, so far. If you are looking for color in bulk, most likely you'll be dealing with professional color film.
