Color photo labs

I am sure this has been answered many times but using search I could not find any answers. Have been using medium format for about 5 years now but only black/white and develop at home. Just bought a Mamiya 6 and just received a order of medium format color film. The closest Pro Shop to me is over a hour away, so would like to try a mail photo lab. Would prefer only negatives developed and reasonable turnaround. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I think Precision will get my film, and in Texas to boot.

They do 35/120/220 btw

You will have to email for develop only prices.... most of their work is dev + scan

I have used them a couple of times, and the results were excellent; best of about 6 labs I tried so far. They also offer very good scans along with film development for a reasonable price.

It's a NCPS scan from a slide, not a color negative. But you should shoot slides anyway, and project them, you will never want anything else after having seen medium format slides projected 🙂. Because there is no "pixel" limit, not HD, not 4k, just everything that's in your image.

It is not a rant, not at all.
It is just the simple, objective truth!
A medium format slide on a lighttable with an excellent slide loupe like the Schneider 3x medium format loupe is breathtaking.
And projected with a good slide projector, it is just outstanding and absolutely unsurpassed in its quality.

I have never invested into a good loupe, I'll have to do that one of these days.

To the OP: Go buy some Velvia/Provia 100!
